BenQ announced <A HREF="http://www.dcviews.com/press/BenQ-C1000.htm">the C1000, featuring a 10.1 megapixel</A> CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, and a large 2.4-inch LCD. The C1000, successor to the C800, comes with an extensive range of user-friendly modes which includes 8-second shutter speed night scene mode, quick 4 continuous-shot mode and printer mode, delivering an impeccable image quality. The C1000 supports VGA movie recording at 30fps with MPEG4 format and supports the PictBridge function. The BenQ DC C1000 will be available in September.
