Olympus has released <A HREF="http://www.dcviews.com/press/Olympus-E-firmware.htm">new firmware updates for their E-series digital SLR cameras.</A> Firmware update version 1.5 for models E-1 and E-300 improves focusing accuracy when using the Olympus EC-20 Teleconverter. Firmware version 1.3 will offer the same focusing accuracy improvement for the E-330, E-410 and E-500. Finally, firmware version 1.2 for the model E-510 will offer this same update, and in addition will improve the image stabilization when shooting at slow shutter speeds.
