Instead of trying to make the camera lens see like the human eye, some photographers embrace the limitations of the lens. In doing so they created a type of <A target="_blank" href="http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Take_Bokeh_Photographs">photography known as "Boke"</A> (also spelled Bokeh). Boke is a Japanese term meaning "become blurred or fuzzy" and is used to describe images with a sharply focused subject surrounded by a blurry background.
