
<p>CHICAGOThe KM-1 sheetfed UV colour inkjet press from Konica Minolta and Komori, unveiled at Drupa, had a North American preview this week at Print 13.</p><p>Co-developed by both companies, the machine couples Konica Minolta's UV inkjet technology with Komori's manufacturing technology. At presentations held at the trade show, Konica Minolta boasted KM-1's combination of the speed and flexibility offered by offset machines with digital benefits like variable data and zero make ready.</p><p>Live demos of the KM-1 at Konica Minolta's booth at Print 13 in Chicago</p><p>The KM-1 can process cut-sheet pages of a larger 23" x 29.5", enabling 6-up letter size printing, and can process a wide range of paper thickness and stock, whether coated, uncoated or textured.
