<p>The Lebanese coastline is this month playing host to a one-of-a-kind sporting event called the Lebanon Water Festival, which runs September 6th-28th.</p><p>The festival -- whose first edition took place last summer with strong Lebanese, Arab and foreign participation -- is once again bringing a sporting spirit to the beaches of Batroun, Anfeh, Kaslik, Dbayeh, Beirut, Jiyyeh and Tyre.</p><p>Former champion water-skier Simon Khoury and his daughter, Annette, inaugurated the festival last year.</p><p>Al-Shorfa: Why did you organise this festival?</p><p><a href="http://al-shorfa.com/en_GB/articles/meii/features/2013/09/13/feature-03">Keep reading...</a></p>
