
<p>It may not be that easy being green, but from the frog's point of view being green is the least of what it has to offer. Its neon-green skin, tipped with flecks of gold, is beyond cool. A tongue that is longer than its two-inch long body is spectacular, and then there are those feet! Scientists using an atomic force microscope found that tree frog feet are covered with tightly packed "nanopillars," which, with just a tiniest bit of mucus, can adhere to virtually any surface.</p><p>Victoria Rivas photographed this Mediterranean tree frog on the island of Ibiza.
