
<p>"Bigfin Squid," "Surgeon Fish," "Lingcod Eyeball" and "Great White Shark" are four of the 13 underwater photos featured this month by local artist and diver Mark Cortright at Los Bagels, 1061 I St. in Arcata. A reception will be held for the artist during Arts! Arcata from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight.</p><p>Water has been a constant theme for Cortright. He grew up in a family that was constantly in and around the water, and became interested in scuba diving and was certified in 1982.</p><p>Since his certification, he has done all sorts of diving, including shipwreck salvage, light commercial and game gathering, and he became a dive master.
