
<p>Christine Roenspiess has brought some underwater magic above ground this month.</p><p>The Sarnia photographer and avid scuba diver is showcasing some of her best underwater shots, from tropical fish to sunken shipwrecks, in a new exhibit at the Cheeky Monkey. It runs until Dec. 27.</p><p>"People are especially surprised by how much colour is underwater because when you see photos and video without enough strobe (lights), you see blue and green and brown, but if you light it up, there are other colours in there," said Roenspiess.</p><p>Her shots capture a variety of sea creatures from a tiny bright orange pygmy seahorse to a 25-foot whale shark during her scuba diving trips to Indonesia, the Cayman Islands and Bonaire.</p><p><a href="http://www.theobserver.ca/2013/12/04/photographer-showcasing-her-underwater-photography-at-downtown-cultural-walkabout">Keep reading...</a></p>
