
<p>Steve Kohls, Brainerd Dispatch Photographer and photography instructor at Central Lakes College and the Minnesota School of Diving, including Underwater photography will speak and share his work on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd.</p><p>Kohls has traveled to Alaska for the past four years to photograph brown bears during the salmon run. He will share his stunning photos of these amazing bears as they fish and interact with each other. Next September, Kohls will be traveling to Kaktovik, Alaska to photograph polar bears after the village takes a bowfin whale on Labor Day weekend.</p><p>This program is sponsored by the Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society and the Northland Arboretum. It is free and open to the public.
