
<p>Mike Canon, the challenger in the race for the Republican nomination to represent District 31 in the Texas State Senate, said Wednesday that comments made by incumbent Kel Seliger about an endorsement from Empower Texans are wrong.</p><p>Canon, an oil and gas attorney and former Midland mayor, said Seliger gave "bald-faced misrepresentations" when he accused Canon of having unlimited campaign resources via Empower Texans.</p><p>Empower Texans is a conservative political action committee and Tim Dunn is the chairman on the board of directors for the PAC.</p><p>The PAC has endorsed Canon in the Republican primary and Canon says he accepts the endorsement, but is not affiliated with the organization beyond that and that Seliger's comments are simply not true.</p><p><a href="http://www.oaoa.com/news/article_0cc93f34-9f4b-11e3-9dbc-001a4bcf6878.html">Keep reading...</a></p>
