<p>KNOXVILLE Authorities have identified human remains found in woods in Kodak late last year, officials said.</p><p>The bones discovered Dec. 21 have been identified as those of 58-year-old Robert Benny Thompson, of East Knox County, who had been missing, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.</p><p>Authorities said Thompson had been reported missing Nov. 7, 2011, and a teenager found his bones Dec. 21 in the woods behind 8916 Kodak Road.</p><p>Officials said the cause of death is consistent with head injuries.
