<p>As one of Google's products, Picasa has perks that other photo-sharing platforms simply might not offer. For example, any contacts in your Google Account (which includes Gmail, Google Plus and other Google products) will automatically be available as part of Picasa's People Manager. This means that Picasa will recognize anybody from your contacts when you tag them or perform other operations in PIcasa. You can import an entire database of contacts using a CSV file or manually add single contacts from within the Google Contacts manager.
