<p>For those of you that don't know the Lytro, it is a light field camera that takes multiple images of a scene and lets you focus and defocus later on in post-production. That isn't currently available with DSLRs because of the fact that there is only one lens on the camera. But a new attachment called the Kaleidocamera may change that.</p><p>It promises to add better dynamic range, better polarization, and the refocusing capabilities in a single image. The attachment does this by creating something like a kaleidoscope that filters the images and then delivers them to the sensor in a single image. But that's only one way that it works.</p><p>Just imagine how much more massive your raw files will become.
