<p>The 2001 IMAX Documentary Film Oceanmen Extreme Dive is finally coming to a (smaller) screen near you. After a 12 year wait we've heard word directly from Oceanmen director Bob Talbot that the Blu-Ray version will be available from August 13, 2013 via oceanmenbluray.com.</p><p>Exquisitely shot for the giant screen on 70mm film, this award winning film poetically tells the stories of world champion free-divers Umberto Pelizzari and Pipin Ferreras as they attempt to dive deeper than anyone had ever daredover 500 feeton a single breath of air. While both divers share a deep affinity for the sea and freediving, their different personalities and opposing diving philosophies turned a once close friendship into a bitter rivalry.</p><p>Their personal journeys were filmed in six countries.
