<p>There's far more to the camera market than the latest DSLR or compact camera, as there's a very competitive market for the rugged models as well. With a huge choice available, and new ones hitting the market just recently, we thought we would take a look at two of the most recent, the Pentax WG-3 GPS and the Olympus TG-2.</p><p>Choosing between two cameras that are designed to do very similar things is always a tough task, as you have to consider many factors, such as specs, unique features, design, and more importantly, their price.</p><p>Pentax WG-3 GPS vs. Olympus TG-2 The WG-3 GPS is cheaper than the TG-2, $297 compared to $329 and has a higher sensor, 16-megapixels compared to 12-megapixles. The Pentax also has a better built-in flash range of 34-inches vs. 26-inches for the Olympus. Finally, the WG-3 GPS offers 10 shots per second with the TG-2 performing half that amount.</p><p>However, the Olympus TG-2 redeems itself with a smaller and thinner body, improved battery life, 350 shots vs 240 shots, and finally a higher screen resolution of 610k dots compared to 460k dots.</p><p><a href="http://www.product-reviews.net/2013/07/23/pentax-wg-3-gps-vs-olympus-tg-2/">Keep reading...</a></p>
