
<p>Karen Binns wrote that she can't find the "Print Preview" option in Word 2007/2010. Click on the "Microsoft Office" button and then click on "Print" to bring up "Print Preview," which creates a "thumbnail" view of how the page would look when printed. Click on "Close Print Preview" to return to your normal editing mode.</p><p>Paul Elder asked how to change some of Windows 7's performance settings, such as the length of time it takes before it goes into the "Screensaver" or "Standby" or "Sleep" mode when a computer is not being used. Right-click any open space on the Desktop and choose "Personalize" to see all the options.</p><p>Be aware that "Standby" and "Sleep" were designed mainly to conserve battery power on a laptop, and are of little value on a PC that is plugged into AC power. "Screensaver" is a holdover from the 1980s wherein an image could burn into a monitor if left there too long without any motion.</p><p>Betty Ring asked how to delete everything from an old computer she wants to donate.
