
<p>The competition is open to BSoUP members and non-members alike, the only condition being that competing photographers have not come first, second or third in a national or international competition.</p><p>The portfolio must comprise six images, along the lines of Paul Woodburn's winning entry from last year, pictured. And the winner will be awarded the Diver Magazine trophy and receive a cheque for 100.</p><p>" The objective of the Beginners' Portfolio competition is to identify photographers who can demonstrate a range of skills in underwater photography," says BSoUP.
