
<p>WITH THE LAUNCH of our new South West Holderness Group on Flickr, readers might be interested to know how we get our photos ready for publication in the first place. Flickr is great for presentation and sharing of photos, but for all other purposes we use Picasa3.</p><p>Picasa is one of the vast array of Google programmes that we use at HU12 Online, and is completely FREE. The fact that the program is free, and so easily available, might give the impression that it is somehow inferior; nothing could be further from the truth. Picasa is a very powerful program for viewing, editing and organising the photos on your computer.</p><p>Typical view when using Picasa</p><p>In this short series of articles, we hope to take interested readers through the process of using Picasa for the first time.
