And when it comes to Target's consumer electronics offerings, the retailer has several listings for cameras (DSLRs and point-and-shoots), camcorders and camera accessories, including point-and-shoot cameras available at just a hundred dollars, or even less.

The Nikon Coolpix S3500 digital camera comes with a 20-megapixel sensor and 7x optical zoom, and is the camera mentioned above listed at only $100, or $99.99, to be more accurate; that's a discount of $20 less than the regular price of $119.99.

Also listed under the point-and-shoot category is the Canon PowerShot SX-170, which is listed at a sale price of $159.99, another $20 discount off the full retail price ($179.99). Specs include a 16-megapixel sensor, 16x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, while some features include a DIGIC 4 Image Processor, auto focus, a self-timer, face detection, and OIS, or optical image stabilization.

Buyers looking for something even cheaper can consider two very similar options to the ones above.
