
<p>Most offices can make at least occasional use of large-format printing in order to fit a ginormous spreadsheet on one page, for example. Graphic arts studios need to output layouts at large sizes as well. And anyone who wants to print photos bigger than A4 size will need a wide-format photo printer. Fortunately, there are excellent office and photo printers that let you print at A3 size, and indeed larger.</p><p>Large-format photo printers are near-dedicated models. Although they're capable of outputting text and graphics as well as photos, and usually do a decent job of it, using one for non-photo printing would be like using a Lamborghini for grocery trips.</p><p>These photo printers have an abundance of ink tanks. Generally, the more expensive near-dedicated photo printers use larger capacity cartridges that bring the running costs down.
