
<p>INTERNET GIANT Google has rolled out a number of small but significant changes to its social network Google+.</p><p>At an event titled "A Morning with Google+" yesterday, the social network announced a slew of innovations in an attempt to lure users away from its rivals.</p><p>Top of the list is the rollout of vanity URLs to most webpages. This has been a bugbear for many users who have found it hard to communicate that they are on Google+ without using a long URL.</p><p>At the heart of the announcements were a glut of new photo sharing and editing tools that suggest that the social network sees its future in this context. Central to this will be the extension of the Auto Awesome feature, which corrects photos and creates panoramas without being prompted.
