
<p>The category of offense committed by a 6-year-old Canon City student was changed by the school district Wednesday from "Sexual Harassment" to "Misconduct."</p><p>Superintendent Dr. Robin Gooldy said the first-grader's parents met with Lincoln School of Science & Technology Principal Tammy DeWolfe on Wednesday and resolved to change the category of offense. The student is back in school.</p><p>The incident stems from when he kissed a female classmate on the cheek in November and then kissed the same girl on the hand Dec. 4. The boy was placed on in-school suspension for the first incident, his mother, Jennifer Saunders, told the Daily Record on Tuesday, and he was placed on a two-day suspension last week for the second infraction. Both instances were categorized as sexual harassment.
